Kris glanced at Woobin and Yemi briefly, then he heard Woori’s voice.

“Unnie.”

He heard Lay whistle lowly.

The young heiress of billion dollar fashion company Lee Corporation entered the place, she was dressed in a white peplum dress and champagne colored heels.

“Unnie.” Woori looked at her, then she smiled.

“Riri.” She smiled back, Woori laughed and gave her a hug.

“Oh my gosh, it’s been….months!”

Woobin’s eyes widened, Lee Minah was right in front of him talking with his sister.

Yemi turned to him curiously.

“Oppa…you’re ex is here.” Woori said bluntly while smiling.

Kris almost sighed.

Yemi looked up at the beautiful lady.

“It’s been a while, Woobin-ah.”

Woori chuckled to herself as she left her brother in an awkward situation, she saw Yemi looked shocked when she introduced Minah to them.

“Ri?”

She turned and found Kris walking to her, somehow she had managed to escape the party unnoticed, well not so.

“I’m sorry about earlier, I know I should have….” She trailed off. Kris looked at her questioningly.

“Never mind.” She shook her head, Kris took off his coat and placed it on her shoulders.

“Can we get spicy noodles somewhere?” Woori looked up.

“Okay, switch.” Woori smiled, she pushed her half eaten bowl of spicy seafood noodle soup. Kris put down his utensils and pushed his bowl of naengmyeon to her.

“Before….how was Yemi?”

Kris looked up, trying to ignore the tensed feeling that was forming inside of him.

“How…Her personality.”

“She’s…kind, patient.” Kris nodded.

She left me because she knew how I felt for you while we were still dating.

“Actually, Kris….a few days ago,”  Woori shook her head.

“What is it?” Kris reached for a napkin and handed it to her.

“I’ll do it my part, I decided on that few days ago.”

“What?”

“You wanted to wait for Yemi, now she’s back.”

“Woori, don’t~”

“I’ll…do everything to prevent this wedding.”

Kris dropped his chopsticks.

“Kris~”

“You never listen to me!” He snapped. Woori blinked.

“Do you think I want you to stop the wedding?!”

“Kris, she will marry my brother, and you waited for her to come back.” She replied.

“I don’t know what to do with you, Kim Woori.” Kris stated before leaving.

Outrageous.

Kris got in his car and slammed the door shut. He leaned on the seat and pinched the bridge of his nose.

He glanced back at the restaurant’s doors.

Minutes later, he saw a black BMW arrive and picked up Woori. Then he started his car and left.

Woori arrived at their house, only to find piles of boxes and luggage by the door.

“What’s this?” She asked as she stepped in the house.

Yemi was speaking with her parents; her older brother was nowhere to be found.

“Dear, where’s Kris?”

“He…left early, eomma.”

“Really? Yemi’s moving, she’s going to live with us.”

“What?!” She balked, Yemi turned to her.

“They’re not even married yet.”

“How could you say that? It’s okay, your brother and her still have to know each other.”

Woori bit her lip and walked to the stairs.

She went in her room and tossed her clutch to the couch.

It was odd, Kris never got angry at her.

But earlier, why was he so worked up?

She sighed before plopping on her bed.

And she was still in the dilemma of wanting to tell Kris that she didn’t like Yemi.
