Kimmie's POV

Haruki went home early and I still have a project to finish. I was going to ask her if she can help me, but I don't want to bother her since today was her first day of school.

I sit in the empty classroom and plug in my earbuds. It is now 4:30 P.M. and most students and teachers already left. I focus on my project and make sure I write neatly.

Suddenly I notice a figure coming from the corner of my eye. I'm scared and nervous at the same time. I think a teacher will come and scold me for not going home. I slowly unplug my right earbud and then hear a very familiar voice.

"How come you're still here?"

This voice. To be honest, I haven't heard this voice in a while, months maybe.

I look up and see a guy in purple T-shirt and black shorts.

"Hoya-sshi, what are you doing here?" I stand up immediately.

"Hey I asked you first," he replies.

"I just stay back to finish my project. Since it's pretty hard to focus at my house because of my sister. I thought I'll get some privacy here."

"Yeah but don't you get scare staying here alone?"

"No, I'm used to it."

"Where's that tall nerdy guy?"

"Chanyeol you mean?"

"Yeah, him."

"He went home before me."

"But I thought he was your boyfriend? Shouldn't boyfriends stay to look after their girlfriends?"

"Chanyeol is not my boyfriend. We're just best friends. Besides... there's someone else..." I begin to speak softly because I don't want him to hear that last part. But unfortunately...

"Who?" he asks.

I'm really surprised at how good his hearing is.

"What?"

"Who?" he asks again.

"Uh no one. You know what? I'm gonna go now. I think my mom would be worried." I quickly pack up my stuff and give him a bow.

I open the door and run as fast as I can out of the building. I just don't know what to do. If Hoya finds out that I like him, things can go the wrong way. I mean Hoya is very well-know at this school and if I even tell one person that I like him, the whole school will know. And my life would be ruined. Chanyeol is the only person I can trust.

I walk home slowly and text Chanyeol.

Chanyeol, are you there?

Yea what's up?

I just saw Hoya.

Where? I thought you were at school.

I was. He suddenly came into my classroom and I was really surprised.

I decide not to tell him about the misunderstanding.

And I might've sort of gave him a hint that I have a crush on someone.

Does he know it's him?

I hope not. If he does, the whole wide world would know. I don't want that.

Well just act cool around him. He'll soon forget. I remember a girl confessed to him and he just completely forgot her the next day. I'm serious.

Alright. I'll try.

Okay. Gotta go, Baekhyun just called me. Man, sometimes that guy's kinda impatient.

Okay bye.

I guess Chanyeol is right. Maybe Hoya will forget soon. But what makes me curious is that  why did Hoya come to my class in the first place? I'm pretty sure he doesn't have cleaning duty so why?
