Chapter XI
Effortlessly YouI cannot look into Sooyeon's eyes without being reminded of Jessica. It's only been a day yet I'm already missing her - her seldom smile, her effortless teasing, her cold facade, and on point remarks. I asked myself Why did I get trapped into this situation? Why did I like a girl who's in an extraordinary situation and fifty percent chance of being...gone?
"Yoona? Yoona-shi? Yoonaaa!" Sooyeon shouted which awakened me from my trance. It's the third day since I worked with her. We were in her room opposite to Jessica's. I was helping her make the Namsan Tower out of lego bricks when my mind once again became occupied with thoughts about Jessica.
"S-Sorry I spaced out princess."
According to Butler Seo, Sooyeon loves being called princess since it's how her parents usually addressed her.
"Your mind keeps wandering Yoona-shi. It seems like you don't like being around me." She pouted and it's really cute. She looks a sulking Picachu with her pout.
"I'm sorry. I am just missing someone."
"Who?" I'd like to think that the look in her eyes suggested she knows the answer but I don't want to assume otherwise.
"My friend in Seoul," I lied. "It's my first time being away from her for more than a week since college years. We live in one apartment."
