LAY's POV:

 

It was very dark. The moon was the only light I could see.

 

I hear voices, talking in different languages.

 

Then I smelled something fishy and foul. I smell... blood.

 

Everything went so bright. Somebody just switched the light on. 

 

I cringed and vomited as soon as I saw my beloved co-members lying on different operating beds.

 

Chanyeol got no ears and blood was continuously squirting from his temples.

 

D.O.'s eyes were popped out and it seemed like he was crying blood.

 

Suho is awake. He was staring at the ceiling and his head's cranium was not there anymore. His brain was exposed and worms were already feasting there.

 

I looked around. Everyone's eyes were open yet I can see that they were no longer breathing.

 

I blinked and in a sudden, EXO was gone. The only person I can see now is KM. She was sad but smiled as she held my face to her face and kissed me.

 

She blurted out some words which I did not hear. Then she walked few steps backward. 

 

Boom!

 

Her head exploded right in front of me.

 

"Aaaah!!" I screamed.

 

I looked around and saw worried Luhan-hyung and Xiumin-hyung beside me.

 

"You okay Lay?" Xiumin-hyung asked as he pats my head with some dry towel. I was soaking wet with sweat.

 

"Nightmare?" Luhan-hyung guessed right so I nodded. He was near my foot holsing a needle. I think he poked my toe with it so that I would wake up.

 

"I had nightmares too. Luckily it was that horrifying so I was able to wake up before dying." Xiumin said.

 

"Do you want to share your bad dreams' content?" He asked me again. I shook my head. I don't want them to know that they died in my dreams. 

 

"Good. I am not going to anticipate it anyway." Luhan-hyung said and laughed to lighten up the atmosphere.

 

"Come on now. Get your off of the bed. We still have fansign event today." Xiumin threw some pillows on my face before going out of our room. I laughed and followed him.

"Thousand of fans are waiting for you there." KM informed us.

 

"Really? I hope there will be no commotion when we get there." I said and she giggled cutely.

 

"Hahaha. You wish. You know that some fans get aggressive when they see your faces and even your shadows. I am telling you, people will be pushing and pulling everyone that steps into their way. Plus, sasaengs are absolutely everywhere." KM said as she waves her pen.

 

"Alright, alright. Quit the chit-chats. Let's hit the roads." I heard manager hyung said.

 

We fixed ourselves before going out the SM Building. Our van was waiting for us there. We entered and I seated beside the door. KM went in and slided the door and locked it.

 

KM sat between me and Tao. While travelling, she leaned her head back and massaged her temples.

 

"Are you alright?" I asked worriedly.

 

"Yes. I just didn't get enough sleep last night. I had nightmares so.. yeah." She said leaving me hanging on about what kind of nightmare she had.

 

"You don't need to know. It's a girl thing." She said and smiled at me. 

 

It gave me goosebumps. That kind of smile she just did was exactly the same smile she gave me on the nightmares. Feeling a bit frightened and chilled, I reached for the aircon's switch and lowered the temperature.

 

I closed my eyes and tried washing the thoughts away. I just couldn't so I decided to plug my earphones on my ears and liaten to our new tracks. It calmed me down.

 

After listening to all the tracks, we exactly got to our destination.

"We are one, we are EXO!" The event was finished after saying our slogan.

 

We waved goodbyes to all the fans who came and supported us. But before going back to Seoul, a staff from the fansign event gave us snacks and sodas for replenishment.

 

When I got my snacks, I noticed KM's absence. She was just here a while ago. 

 

"Hey guys, have you seen KM?"  Asked them but they only shook their heads.

 

Just as I turned my head to my left, she appeared like a mushroom.

 

"You looking for me?" She asked, wearing her blank face and emotionless expression. Kind of creepy but I find it still cute.

 

"Yeah." I said and offered her my snack. 

 

"Thanks but I am full." She said oddly.

 

She walked passed by me and clapped her hands to steal the attention of everyone. "Guys, I'll drive you to SMEnt. Manager-hyung fainted and was sent to the hospital. The doctor said he was overfatigued so he had to rest."

 

We nodded and started to pack some of our things then went to the van.

 

We were on the same places except for KM who is now at the driver's seat. I observed her very carefully. Her moves seemed like it was directed and scripted. She does not even smile and when she talks, she doesn't look into our eyes.

 

Few minutes have passed and I noticed all of the members were sleeping. It was odd. Most of us stay awake until we got to our place. But this time was different.

 

I looked at KM and was surprised when I saw her looking at me too through the rear view mirror. She was quiet all the time then after checking up on me, she focused herself on the road. That is when I felt my eyelids were getting heavier than usual.

 

I leaned back and tried to slap my face so that I would have not fallen asleep just like everyone did. But I failed.

"Yaah! Untie us!" 

 

"Where are we?!"

 

"Somebody take off this blindfold!"

 

"Hyungs where are the others?"

 

"Oh my gosh, I think bugs are climbing up my legs!"

 

I heard every member's voice asking for help.

 

"SHUT THE UP!" A loud shout made everyone zipped their mouths.

 

"W-who are you?" I gathered my courage just to blurt out those words.

 

"Hmm. I am Simon. The one who will immortalize your body." E said and I felt the hair on my skin started to have goosebumps.

 

"What do you mean?" I heard Kris asked in a very afraid tone.

 

There was silence for a moment. We thought that that Simon does not want to answer our question.

 

Indeed we were right. He did not respond. Though someone had to answer. I could not believe my ears when I hear that familiar voice.

 

"Immortalize. He's going to do cryonism. He meant he's going to pour liquid nitrogen to your fcking body so that it will be preserved for a very long time. Cryogenically frozen EXO." She said. 

 

Yes. Her. It was KM's voice and I am sure.

 

Before I could even speak, somebody took off the blindfold and the brightness of the light made my eyes hurt. I needed few seconds to adjust. And when my eyes were already okay. I saw my co-members tied up on separate operating beds that are placed vertically. 

 

I saw to figures at the middle. One man, that must be Simon. And the woman, KM.

 

"W-why?" I asked controlling my voice and my tears from flowing out.

 

"For money." She said unhesitantly. Then she smirked which made me cringed in disgust. After all we've been through, after trusting her, this is what we get?

 

"You should have tried asking from me! I can give you any amount you want!" I heard Suho shouted in anger.

 

But then, KM did not even flinch. Her face was as evil as satan when she answered back. "Oh. Sorry dear. I really don't accept money from good people. I always wanted dirty money so I did this. And if ever you could give me big bucks, can you afford every member's price?" She asked as she played with the strands of her hair. Just like what those villain characters do when they're planning something terrible.

 

Suho did not answer. We knew that he is rich, but to think that putting all effort just to get us here, each member must cost really really really really high.

 

"I thought so." KM said and walked around passing each of us. "My plan was to take only one of you. But then I realized that EXO will not be called as OT12 when one is missing. So I decided to take all of you. One hundred million US dollars for each head. Pretty expensive huh?" She said and cackled very loud.

 

Right after she laughed, we heard the door being opened by somebody. Then, I saw every member's eyes widened.

 

It was Mr. Jung. The one who always follow KM. The colleague of Kim.

 

What is he doing here?

 

Does he belong to the villain group?

 

If Mr. Jung belonged here, does this mean Kim was part of this too?

 

Is this the reason why Kim said that we should not trust anyone including him?

 

So many questions yet nobody could answer these.
