After administering the inhibitor, Charlie's body finally succumbed to the effects, her consciousness slipping away as she collapsed into Serena's arms.

Gently, Serena lifted Charlie's limp form and carried her to the nearby bed. Tenderly, she brushed aside the strands of hair obscuring Charlie's face before caressing her cheek with a soft touch.

As she gazed down at Charlie's peaceful expression, Serena's mind whirled with conflicting thoughts and emotions. Why had she hesitated when Charlie tried to mark her? Why hadn't she resisted or fought back? Was it possible that she harbored feelings for Charlie?

"Why did I almost let you mark me? Why didn't I fight back when it was clear that you wanted to mark me? I could push you away, I could fight you... but I didn't... Is it possible... that... I like you?" Serena pondered silently, her heart racing with uncertainty.

With a deep breath, Serena held her chest, feeling the rapid beat of her heart beneath her touch. "But can I? Can I like you? Can I truly trust you?" she whispered to herself, grappling with her conflicting emotions.

"It seems like I really like you... but I'm not really sure if I can... I hope you can give me more confidence..." Serena murmured softly, her gaze lingering on the sleeping figure before her.

Suddenly, Charlie stirred, murmuring an apology in her sleep.

"Serena... I'm sorry..." Charlie muttered in her sleep.

Serena couldn't help but smile at the sincerity in Charlie's words. "It looks like you really have changed, Charlie..." she murmured to herself, a glimmer of hope blossoming within her.

Just as Serena prepared to leave Charlie's side, she felt Charlie's hand reach out, grasping hers weakly.

"Please don't leave..." Charlie's voice was barely audible, her eyes fluttering open to meet Serena's gaze.

Alphas may possess immense strength, but during their susceptible period, they become incredibly vulnerable. It's a time when their emotions are heightened, their instincts are amplified, and their defenses are lowered. In this fragile state, they seek solace and comfort from those they trust the most, finding reassurance and stability in their presence.

Without hesitation, Serena looked back, her heart softening at the vulnerability reflected in Charlie's eyes.

"Okay... I won't," she promised gently.

"Promise?" Charlie's voice was filled with childlike innocence, tugging at Serena's heartstrings.

Serena couldn't help but chuckle softly at Charlie's plea.

"Yes, I really won't," she assured, squeezing Charlie's hand reassuringly in hers.

Charlie woke up early, feeling remarkably better than the night before. As she stirred, she noticed a figure sleeping peacefully on her chest. Opening her eyes slowly, she was taken aback by what she saw.

Beside her lay a beautiful blonde girl, Serena, sleeping soundly. Memories of the vulnerable state she had been in during her susceptible period flooded back to Charlie's mind.

"After everything that happened, you still chose to stay by my side all night... Thank you, Serena," Charlie whispered gratefully to the sleeping girl.

Charlie couldn't tear her gaze away from Serena's serene and delicate features as she slept peacefully.

An irresistible urge to lean in and kiss the Omega overwhelmed Charlie. 

'Those lips... they're so enchanting... I wonder if they taste like strawberry champagne, just like her scent?' Charlie wondered.

Slowly, she closed her eyes and began to lean in for a kiss, when suddenly, a knock echoed at the door.

Startled, both Serena and Charlie snapped out of their daze, their eyes widening in surprise.

Both of them: O.O

"Miss Charlie, I'm coming in..." Aunt Carol's voice sounded from the other side of the door.

Quickly, they both sat up, their cheeks flushed red with embarrassment, still wearing expressions of shock.

Upon entering Charlie's room, Aunt Carol was utterly shocked to find an S-Class Alpha and an S-Class Omega sharing the same bed in the morning.

Aunt Carol: O.O

"Aunt Carol! I didn't say you could come in!" Charlie protested, flustered by her unexpected intrusion.

"But Miss... it's almost time for school..." Aunt Carol replied, giving both Charlie and Serena a scrutinizing look, her mind racing with thoughts of what might have transpired the night before.

'SOMETHING HAPPENED LAST NIGHT! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT!' Aunt Carol's thoughts raced ahead of her and excitement on what happened between the two.

"A-aunt Carol! What are you thinking?!?!?!? Stop imagining things!" Charlie exclaimed, seeing the speculative look in Aunt Carol's eyes.

"I-I'll get ready for school..." Serena interjected, swiftly moving to leave the bed.

"Charlie was in her susceptible period last night, I helped her inject an inhibitor and then I fell asleep... Please take care of Charlie," Serena explained before leaving the room.

"WHAT?!?! MISS CHARLIE?!??! YOU SHOULD'VE TOLD ME!! I WOULD'VE CALLED THE DOCTOR!! YOUR CYCLE STARTED EARLIER THAN USUAL!" Aunt Carol nagged, her worry evident in her voice.

"THIS IS WHYYY I DIDN'T TELL YOU, AUNT CAROL, BECAUSE YOU NAG ALOTTT! But... I'm fine. I think it's because of the spicy hotpot..." Charlie attempted to explain, her voice laced with innocence.

"MISS, YOU CAN'T EAT SPICY FOOD!" Aunt Carol scolded in response.

"I'm leaving now... you can rest for today..." Serena announced before exiting the room.

"Serena... are you going to school?" Charlie inquired.

"Of course, I'm fine... why, are you worried about me?" Serena replied with a hint of amusement.

"N-no... I'm not worried... but since you're going to school, so am I! But remember, I'm not worried!" Charlie insisted defensively.

Serena chuckled softly before taking her leave.

"Aunt Carol, am I worried?" Charlie asked innocently.

"If the Miss said she's not, then she's not worried!" Aunt Carol teased, unable to contain her amusemen
