Being brave only because of alcohol influence.

The dimly lit balcony smelled heavily like alcohol even with the night breeze stirring the air. Smelling like alcohol as well, the two sat side by side on the floor, admiring the sparkling, magnificent night view before them. Himchan wasn’t sure of the reason why Yongguk and he were drinking, but he could only care less as he cleared the remaining content in his cup before Yongguk filled it up again.

Was it because of not winning the MAMA rookie award? Or was it because of the PD choice award they received? Himchan didn’t know, and he didn’t dare to ask either. The only thing he wanted was to make Yongguk happy, and that’s the reason why he was here, drinking, even though he couldn’t handle alcohol as well as Yongguk could.

“Hey.” Yongguk mumbled. Himchan hummed as a response. “Say something. You like talking, don’t you?” Himchan’s blushed and opened his mouth for a few seconds before letting out a sigh and shaking his head slowly. Yongguk laughed lazily. “You shouldn’t have drunk with me if you can’t take alcohol well. You could’ve told me.”

“I drank with you because I like you, moron.” Himchan murmured incoherently as he poured beer down his throat, gulping it down in a rhythmic manner.

“Excuse me, what?” Yongguk woke up a little from his drunken state of mind and asked.

“Nothing,” Himchan groaned, “You really know nothing don’t you.” Himchan continued. “You don’t even look like someone who knows things.”

Yongguk laughed at how drunk his friend was, and laughed even harder when he realised that he was as drunk as him.

“Seriously, I like you a little bit too much.” Himchan slurred.

“You’re drunk, idiot.” Yongguk teased and expected him to deny it.

“Yeah, I’m drunk.” Himchan surprised Yongguk with his reply, “I’m drunk because of your face.” He grinned stupidly.

“Shut up and go to sleep, Himchan. I think you’ve drunk enough for tonight.”

“What about my good night kiss…? I’m not going to bed before I receive one. Yongguk ah!” He begged and pointed a finger at his lips. Yongguk sighed and turned away from his friend, neglecting his request. Himchan protested by stomping his feet heavily and whining loudly.

“Really...” Yongguk murmured and brushed Himchan’s hand off his shoulders. “Go to sleep.”

“I… I’m n-not going.” Himchan hiccupped at the end of his sentence and Yongguk smiled as Himchan gave him a very drunk “stern” look.

“Alright,” Yongguk complied and gave the younger a peck on his forehead, “Here you go stupid.” Himchan let out a satisfied moan and grinned like a mad man.

“Good night Gukkie.” Himchan picked up his heavy body and made his way back to the bedroom.
