“Youngjae ah…” Daehyun begged, trying to make the tearstained face turn to him. “Just… calm down. We can always talk about it, right?” Youngjae sobbed and wouldn’t budge.

“Come inside, it’s freezing out here.” Daehyun whined in an unmanly manner, giving in. Hesitantly he wrapped his arms around Youngjae’s torso from behind, sharing his warmth hoping that his friend would feel better. One, and two, and three drops of warm tears moistened his wrists and he realised that Youngjae wasn’t simply sobbing, but crying as well. His heart ached. It wasn’t the first time for him to see Youngjae cry, but he was no cry baby – he cries with reasons.

“I can’t do this anymore. It’s torturous you know.” The younger boy spoke up for the first time, sounding raspy from crying. He let out a shaky breath and continued. “Your home is in Busan; of course you can’t just fly back. My home’s right here in Seoul.” He sniffed, “I can just run away from all this , really.”

Daehyun, whose head was now resting on Youngjae’s shoulders, nuzzled into Youngjae’s neck, “No, you can’t run away. You have your family, but what do Junhong and I have? We only have you members,” Daehyun explained, “You can’t just leave us alone.” Youngjae’s hand reached Daehyun’s and patted them gently, reaching for the interlaced fingers and separate them. Daehyun’s heart skipped a beat when Youngjae interlaced his fingers with his two hands instead of pulling them away.

“It’s scary how much you’re influenced me.” Youngjae confessed.

“Why?”

“Let’s run away together.”

“What?” Daehyun clenched his hands around Youngjae’s tightly.

“Let’s run away for a while, babo.”

“T-to where? What about the members?”

“To the convenient store, idiot.” Youngjae chuckled as he let go of Daehyun’s warm hands. “You thought we’ll be running away from what? Come on I’ll treat you food, I’m too hungry to practice anymore.”

Daehyun followed the boy like a puppy after decided that he was hungry too. Was Youngjae fine? No he didn’t care anymore.
