Her Cold Heart."Welcome back Ms Park~"
The woman infront of Dara cooed as she gently closed the door to her office. Dara turned and study everything in the office.
Everything is still the same...
Apparently thats the nth time Dara had told herself ever since she first step into the school ground. Sure new coat of paint could be seen on the walls everywhere, but the place still look and smell the same.
Then Dara's eyes lay on the woman infront of her. In her early 30s, with black pencil skirt thats hugging her petite waist and blue chiffon blouse that compliments her fair skin, she would give Scarlett Johansson a run for her money if they stood in one room. This woman is the epitome of timeless beauty, and yet still single. Partnerless. Rumors has it that she's lesbian since she always reject every fitting bachelor that comes her way. You can give her Zac Efron on a silver platter and she will still turn him down. Because she's Lee Mi Rae. The woman would rather grow old with forty cats in a small cottage than settle down with an opposite gender-
"If you are still thinking about me living with forty cats Ms Park, then i suggest you burn that picture out of your head. Because-"
Then came to Dara's view a shiny silver ring.
Dara looked up to the said woman, who's all smiley whiley while gazing softly on her fourth finger.
"The magic of love Ms Park.." cooed Principal Lee while taking another glance at the ring;
"Love works in ways that are wondrous and strange. And there's nothing in life that love cannot change. Love is unselfish, understanding and kind. For it sees with its heart and not with its mind. Love is the answer that everyone seeks. Love is the language that every heart speaks. Love can't be bought for it is priceless and free. Love, like pure magic, is life's sweet mystery." still gazing lovingly- not once taking her eyes off the ring while preaching.
Dara kept silent, her eyes dead, still and expressionless. None of the principal's spoken words made sense to her. She wasn't on the same page as her. Dara's mind was trying to take in how foolish the principal looked right now. The woman whom once thought that life itself was a burden, is now all smiley as if life itself is a gift. The irony. Dara decided to not care about whats happening infront of her and walk towards the office window that overlooked the school entrance. Students of various gender, heights and sizes were starting to fill in the place.
Upon realising that there was no response, the principal snapped out of her trance and looked around for the missing girl- Dara. Her eyes darted everywhere in her room until it lay upon a knowing figure. She shook her head seeing the figure backfacing her.
She never cared doesnt she...
"Never did." Dara spoke softly, breaking the silence, but still
