세븐틴: Carelessness

 

        The members witnessed the two (Jeonghan and Hoshi), sleeping in the living room the next day. Coups, Mingyu, and Vernon remembered something from the last night’s request by the angel, and they sympathized Hoshi because he became his victim.

 

Dino:

Oh!

Hyung is here!

(He was delighted upon seeing him again.)

 

Seungcheol:

Don’t make loud noise, Dino-ya, I’m sure they’re tired.

 

Dino:

What happened?

 

Seungcheol:

They probably went out last night based on Hoshi’s shirt.

Jeonghan came home last night and tried to wake me up.

Maybe because he couldn’t sleep.

 

Mingyu:

He came to me too. Tsk! What a naughty angel. You sure he’s an angel?

 

Joshua:

No doubt. He’s a dark angel.

(He smirked)

 

Vernon:

He is to me, though. Maybe not dark, he’s just mischievous.

 

Wonwoo:

Because you’re still a baby to him, Vernon.

 

Ji Hoon:

But for us, he’s a fool!

(Sighed)

 

Jun:

Poor us.

(Though he was smiling because he’s enjoying the torture.)

 

Seungkwan:

So we receive all the love?

 

DK:

I think so?

The more he tease, the more he love.

(He teased the hyungs.)

 

Dino:

Too much love will kill us.

(He sighed because he was always the subject of torture from the very beginning.)

 

The8:

(He laughed)

I agree. Let’s ask hyung to share it equally.

(He remembered how Jeonghan too.)

 

Ji Hoon:

No thanks.

(He smiled because he was the least to receive Jeonghan’s silly tease.)

 

        Then, the boys prepared for their schedules, except for Hoshi, who’s only schedule for the day was to prepare the choreography for their 1^st concert to be held in their own country. For Jeonghan, he’s still have his vacation until the next day. They left quietly, while Mingyu put a blanket on the two because they were already curling in coldness.

 

        Jeonghan was the one who woke up first, he looked at the fluffy hamster on his side and poked his irresistible cute cheeks. Then, without him knowing, he dragged himself in front of the mirror looking at his lips with his frowning brows.

 

Jeonghan:

(Pouting his mouth and checked his angle from side to side and top to bottom)

Hmmm…

(Made a very troubled sound)

Does my lips really look…

(Remembered what Jihoon said the last time.)

Kissable? Really?

There’s no other way that they’d feel something towards me- eeerrr-

(Looked up)

Right?

 

        Jeonghan tried to reminisce everything s said from the day he had a sudden death. Many reasons were playing in his mind, including the fact that maybe they felt that they were running out of time. Same as his problem. Or maybe, it was because he looked feminine, so it was just okay; though, it was not to him. He sighed. After a few moments concentrating at the mirror, he was startled when he heard someone calling him from his back.

 

Hoshi:

Hyung, what are you doing?

(With his half asleep small line-like eyes.)

 

Jeonghan:

Kkamchagiya!

Ya! You startled me!

 

Hoshi:

(Furrowed his brows.)

I just call you.

Why are you in front of the mirror?

 

Jeonghan:

Nothing.

What would you like to eat?

 

Hoshi:

Anything.

 

        He washed his face first and get back to his hyung.

 

Hoshi:

Hyung, sorry if I offended you last night.

 

Jeonghan:

I’m fine now.

I’m not mad.

 

Hoshi:

(Made his eyes bigger)

Really?

(He smiled and he became lively again.)

 

Jeonghan:

I was just curious, Hoshi-ya.

Why did you do that?

Aren’t you scared or something?

 

Hoshi:

Why should I feel scared?

 

Jeonghan:

I mean… I am a man then you are a man… you know what I mean?

 

Hoshi:

I don’t care.

(He said it coolly by shrugging his shoulders.)

 

Jeonghan:

I see.

(With a weird expression, then he remembered their movie and assumed that if they saw it, it’d be okay too.)

So… is it okay if you see me kissing another man on the lips too?

(Gave Hoshi a bold question.)

 

Hoshi:

(Not only his eyes became bigger, but also his nostrils.)

What?! Of course not!

 

Jeonghan:

Then why did you kiss me?

 

 

Hoshi:

If it’s me, it’s okay.

 

Jeonghan:

And the others?

 

Hoshi:

Not okay.

(Pouted his lips and curled his brows.)

 

Jeonghan:

What’s on your mind Hoshi?

 

Hoshi:

A lot of things.

(He tried to avoid the question.)

Ah hyung, I’m starving!

 

Jeonghan:

Trying to avoid my question, huh?

 

Hoshi:

I’m not…

(Threw another question to him.)

Then, how come you’re okay with the kiss yesterday; though, you got pissed last night? Is there anything I must know? You seemed used to kisses… I’ll answer that if you answer my question too.

 

        Jeonghan paused for a while and heard someone’s phone ringing.

 

Jeonghan:

I think it’s yours, Hoshi?

 

Hoshi:

Avoiding my quest-

(Then he really heard his phone ringing and rushed to answer the call.)

 

        It was the manager who called him to inform them that they had to do another collaboration for a k-pop concert 6 days after their concert in Bangkok, but only a few members would perform. He also said that, they would come to practice at their place because it’s bigger than any other studios. He was expected to choreograph the whole performance. It’s fine with Hoshi; though, his problem was they would be collaborating with the other girl groups too. He didn’t know how to split himself into two. He became troubled after hearing the instructions, especially when he heard that the theme was ‘y & Delicate’. Hoshi was given a song of ‘Shape of You’ by Ed Sheeran infused with Korean songs; though, the other idol group names were not given yet because they were still confirming it with their other schedules too.

 

        After the conversation, he was looking for the lost angel carrying a troubled face. Again, another workout for the poor boy. Finally he saw the angel cooking at the kitchen. Then, he embraced him from his back and answered his hyung’s question honestly.

 

Hoshi:

Hyung, you want to answer why I did that (kiss) ?

 

Jeonghan:

Mm?

Yeah. I’m curious.

 

Hoshi:

You should answer my question too.

(He secured Jeonghan’s answer first as he wagged his body together with his hyung’s.)

 

Jeonghan:

Fine.

(For closure)

 

Hoshi:

Because you’re my favourite, hyung.

(He rubbed his cheeks to the shoulders of the pleased angel.)

 

Jeonghan:

Coups, Shua, and Jun (The hyung line for Hoshi) will get mad if they’ll find out.

 

Hoshi:

They won’t get mad if you will not inform them, you know.

(Paused for a minute before he resumed asking)

Answer my question from the last night.

 

Jeonghan:

Hoshi ya, you know that I have kissing scenes right?

 

Hoshi:

Sceeennneeeesss! Plural?!

(With enlarge eyes)

Not the one when you first met InSung hyung and he gave you a kiss because he mistook you as a woman?! That’s not it?!

(He talked continuously without having a pause as he remembered the scene that shook his internal organs.)

Hyung! You said it was only a scene. Not scenes!

(Very particular on the words Jeonghan used when he said that.)

 

Jeonghan:

You noticed that? I didn’t.

(With his brows frowned and lips pout as he realized that he was unaware.)

 

Hoshi:

A kiss scene is fatal already. But kissing scenes?! Huhu!

Hyung! You’ll kill me!

(He acted cutely)

 

Jeonghan:

It’s nothing. Don’t worry.

(He giggled)

Aigoo, you’re so cute!

 

Hoshi:

(Sighed)

I guess I have to prepare my heart.

(Sobbing)

Hyung! Why betray me?!

(Wailing)

 

Jeonghan:

I did not!

 

Hoshi:

Yoon Jeonghan, it will be seen by many!

I told you not to give that (lips) to anybody! I must protect that at all cost but I fail.

I fail!

(With all the drama and stuffs)

I’m crying inside.

 

Jeonghan:

I told you that was nothing.

Aigoo ya, don’t cry my baby hamster.

 

Hoshi:

I want mine, special.

 

Jeonghan:

Yes. It is!

 

Hoshi:

Are you telling the truth?

(Acting like a baby; though, he really want a sincere answer.)

 

Jeonghan:

Because I love you so much. That was only a work.

(He smiled)

 

Hoshi:

(Whined more.)

That’s what you’re gonna say to all of us!

(Sulked)

 

Jeonghan:

It’s limited to 12 though.

 

Hoshi:

(Long and deep sigh.)

I’m sad.

 

Jeonghan:

Ya…

(Didn’t know how to convince his baby that he’s really special.)

What do you want me to say?

(Of course, his old strategy would always work and he smiled)

(With his mini heart formed by his fingers.)

 

Hoshi:

(With a sad tone)

(Changed the topic.)

Who called you?

Let’s eat now.

 

Hoshi:

(Became the serious choreographer Hoshi)

It’s the manager.

(Sighed)

He asked me if I could choreograph a performance with other groups. And girl groups are included. How can I choreograph girls, hyung? Help me!

(Sobbing Hoshi)

 

Jeonghan:

You can do that! I believe in you!

Do they give you a song?

 

Hoshi:

Yeah, they gave me a list.

There’s ‘Shape of You’ by Ed Sheeran in the intro. It’s too y, hyung. I’m shy.

(He remembered that Jeonghan was dancing a traditional dance last time.)

Hyung…

(Held Jeonghan’s hands tightly.)

I know you can help me with this.

Remember what you dance in the movie?

Can you show me?

 

Jeonghan:

I guess so.

Later after we eat.

Would you like to include a traditional dance too?

(He wore a surprised face)

 

Hoshi:

I don’t know… maybe I’ll just look at how graceful I would like it to be.

 

        Later on, Hoshi placed his chin on the table and started to realize that his body was tired from everything because he got a lot of practice and choreography to do.

 

Hoshi:

I want a rest, hyung.

(He wailed)

 

Jeonghan:

(Felt guilty that he disturbed him in his sleep last night.)

Sorry for disturbing you last night, my star.

 

Hoshi:

It’s fine, hyung. Besides, I miss you too.

(Gave him a lively cute hamster expression.)

 

Jeonghan:

(Tapped his cheeks)

Hoshi:

(Kissed Jeonghan with a perfect smooch sound.)

        The two ate and laughed like crazy neighbourhood because of their random talks and jokes. As promised, after eating, Jeonghan showed him the dance he performed in the movie. Hoshi became serious and studied every movement. Then, he started thinking some choreography in his mind, but he needed a big help in executing it.

 

Hoshi:

Hyung, I think of something…. Can you be my partner? I’ll need you when I teach the steps.

 

Jeonghan:

Sure!

Wait. As in teach it to the girls, you mean?

 

Hoshi:

Yes. I’d be confused if I’ll memorize both of the choreographies.

I need your help badly… please.

(Twinkled his shining eyes)

I’ll ask Seungkwan later to memorize the other half. I know he can pull it off.

 

Jeonghan:

Okay.

But I think, I’d be embarrassed to dance the girl’s role in front of the ladies.

 

Hoshi:

Don’t worry, you can do it!

I believe in you. Just please help me. I want to finish all of this so, I won’t think of it after the concert.

I want freedom, hyung!

(Pleaded his angel.)

 

Jeonghan:

Okay my star. Your wish is my command.

What can I do when we have no women to practice with?

(Sighed)

When will they come here?

 

Hoshi:

I don’t know. The manager will call me, I guess.

They haven’t chosen the final performers yet. I guess they were all busy too.

(Sighed)

I think the reason why they told me earlier is because, they really thought that I can do the choreography alone, and in order for me to teach them immediately.

What a pressure!

(Pouted his cute lips)

 

Jeonghan:

Don’t worry. I’ll be right by your side.

(He smiled)

I’ll be your woman this day.

 

        Hoshi was very pleased of what he heard.

 

        The two were brainstorming of what to do in the practice room, until Hoshi thought that since they’d have a girl partner for each, why not do some ballroom? Modern ballroom with swag and y dance. Suddenly, Kwon Fire was revived!

 

Hoshi:

(Explained his idea to the blank looking angel beside him who had no idea what to do.)

Hyung, let’s do some tango or salsa or rumba.

 

Jeonghan:

Ballroom?

 

Hoshi:

Yes. I think it’s ier.

 

Jeonghan:

Then teach me. I don’t know how. Do you know?

 

Hoshi:

Let watch first and I’ll imitate some of them.

 

        When they searched and watched rumba, salsa, samba, and tango, they jaws dropped.

 

Jeonghan:

Woah! It’s tooooo…

 

Jeonghan & Hoshi:

y!

 

Jeonghan:

How can we do that?!

(He protests)

 

Hoshi:

(Brain cells at work.)

Maybe let’s lessen the intensity.

(Pointed at the screen)

I want to practice this one.

 

        He pointed at the scene where the boy and the girl (body and face) were too close with each other doing some y sways together with their hands: (for men) placed around the waist of the woman; and (for women) placed on the man’s nape.

 

Hoshi asked Jeonghan to look at him face-to-face and to glide his hands ily on his chest. Then, Hoshi would grab Jeonghan’s hand and put it on his face.

 

They successfully executed their first y move, and then after some research, they were completing the chorus slowly. 

 

        When they had a short break, Kwon fire was busy calculating everything. Meanwhile, Jeonghan would just wait for some further instructions and follow the very talented choreographer whenever he’s ready. Few hours later, they already memorized the ballroom dance steps and Hoshi already arranged the whole ballroom choreography. Well, it was still subject for revision, but at least they already had the foundation.

 

        They took another break for a while, and as Jeonghan promised to himself, he’d take good care of Hoshi more. So, he got a towel and a glass of water and returned back to his tired hamster.

 

Hoshi:

Hyung, I might forget the other choreography.

(He laughed)

 

Jeonghan:

I guess we’re the same.

(He giggled)

Hoshi ya, you are really amazing!

 

Hoshi:

(He smiled)

You too, hyung. I know it’s even harder for you.

 

Jeonghan:

Well, I should never disappoint you Hoshi ya or else you’ll kill me.

 

Hoshi:

Where did you get that? You know how much I love you, hyung.

 

Jeonghan:

Okay. Araseo.

 

        Hoshi paused momentarily as he thought of something and he couldn’t decide of what to do. Then, it was time for him to ask the witty hyung beside him.

 

Hoshi:

(Sighed)

Hyung, I’m going to choose from our members. Who should I choose?

 

Jeonghan:

How many are you going to choose from the members?

 

Hoshi:

5

 

Jeonghan:

If it’s y, you’re my no. 1 choice!

 

Hoshi:

As expected of you, hyung! You never fail me.

 

Jeonghan:

It’s an honest answer, Soon Young-ah.

 

Hoshi:

Thanks. Who’s next? Give me four more.

 

Jeonghan:

Mmmmhhh?

Dino? He’s excluded. He’s still a baby.

(He giggled)

I think… If y and strong… I think I’d go for…

Wonwoo, Mingyu…. Hmmm… Jun and Coups!

 

Hoshi:

The Hyung line, well except for Mingyu. It’s given.

Why not include yourself?

 

Jeonghan:

You know I want too but I have a movie to shoot.

 

Hoshi:

Oh right.

Why not Shua hyung, The8, or Vernon?

 

Jeonghan:

Shua?

I don’t think he can lift somebody continuously.

His stamina is low.

And besides, his iness is not what you are looking for.

(He giggled)

For me, he’s y and gentle.

 

Hoshi:

Look at yourself, hyung!

(With a disbelief face.)

 

Jeonghan:

(Giggled)

I’m manlier than you thought.

 

Hoshi:

I think not. Shua hyung is manly.

He’s handsome!

 

Jeonghan:

I am too!

 

Hoshi:

You’re beautiful.

(He smiled)

 

Jeonghan:

Alright.

And for The8 and Vernon… they’re still cute in my eyes.

 

Hoshi:

Vernon is hot too, hyung. I think his features are really hot!

 

Jeonghan:

Yours too, Hoshi ya.

Mine too.

All of us!

(He laughed)

 

Hoshi:

Okay… I give up.

So, that’s the final line up!

 

Jeonghan:

At least they can carry the girls.

 

        One moment, Vernon and Seungkwan came home with Mingyu who arrived right after the two cuties.

 

        Seungkwan heard a loud music from their practice room and saw Hoshi and Jeonghan dancing ballroom. Then, he interrupted.

 

Seungkwan:

Hyung! What’s that for?

 

Jeonghan:

It’s for their performance after the concert. I’m helping Hoshi out.

 

Seungkwan:

Why ballroom?

 

Hoshi:

It’s not final.

Seungkwan-ah, can you do some critic for me?

 

Seungkwan:

Okay. I’ll call Vernon and Mingyu hyung.

 

Hoshi:

Mingyu is there?

Call him… be his partner after we show you.

 

Seungkwan:

Me?

Why?

 

Hoshi:

C’mon! You will play as the girl. We have no girls here, you know. I can only rely on you, so please lend me a hand.

I’ll explain it later.

 

        He called the two boys to watch their performance. Hoshi decided to explain everything first before dancing, so the boys would have no questions in mind while they were performing. Hoshi advised them to give good criticism and feedback whether it’s good or not.

 

        As the music played, the dance moves were already y, especially when Jeonghan and Hoshi began dancing in partners with their bodies and faces so close to each other. The boys’ were frowning due to the intensity of the dance steps; moreover, their y expressions made the audience cringe. As the song moved quickly to the chorus, the more intense the steps were, as well, as complicated. There was a step where in Hoshi grabbed Jeonghan’s hand and put it on his chest, while slowly swaying their bodies from side to side. Then, Jeonghan slid his hands slowly on Soon Young’s chest ily. There was one time when Jeonghan’s whole body was facing another direction, Hoshi came and pulled his body aggressively to his’ as he reached for Jeonghan’s arms and glide his face from shoulders to his fingers. And what made it more intense was the step where the both of them looked at each other’s lips while getting closer to each other slowly, but of course, they won’t kiss but miss, since it’s just a choreography and not a drama.

 

        After the intense dance, the boys froze with their blank expression and their jaw dropped.

 

Hoshi:

Ah, guys?

 

Mingyu:

Too y, hyung!

(Expressed his violent reaction. Moreover, he did it with Jeonghan.)

 

Vernon:

(Wearing a memesol expression.)

It’s like a bed scene, hyung. It’s too intense!

 

        All of them were surprised of Hansol’s criticism; nevertheless, they couldn’t stop telling Hoshi that it’s too obscene.

 

Seungkwan:

Are you trying to get a chance with Hanie-hyung and noonas?

 

Hoshi:

Noooo! That’s not it! You don’t get it, don’t you?

It’s in the song, Seungkwan! The song!

 

Vernon:

Well… I get it but… hyung, I cannot watch it.

 

Hoshi:

Then should I make it lighter?

 

Jeonghan:

Ask Coups and the others later.

It’s y. I like it!

(He giggled)

 

Mingyu:

Hyung… I tell you, it’s really… as in really intense!

I swear!

 

Hoshi:

I guess I have to change some.

(He was convinced immediately because of Mingyu’s reaction. He thought that he’d be shy practicing it and he’d get distracted doing it to a lady.)

 

Vernon:

But it’s really daebak! It’s beautiful, though I’m not sure if the whole thing will be censored after.

(He giggled)

 

        All of them laughed and agreed.

 

Hoshi:

Seungkwan, go with Mingyu.

I’ll teach you your steps.

 

        Mingyu tried to be serious, as well as, Seungkwan but the tall puppy kept on laughing because of Seungkwan’s face and funny expressions. In the end, they both got scolded by their performance leader, Hoshi.

 

Hoshi:

Hyung (Jeonghan), can you practice with Mingyu?

Seungkwan-ah, come here!

I need you to teach the steps too to the other girls.

(He smiled)

 

Seungkwan:

It’s gonna be embarrassing, Hyung.

 

Hoshi:

You can do it!

I trust you.

 

Seungkwan:

Aigoo~

Why not Jeonghan, hyung? It fits him more with his pretty face.

 

Hoshi:

What if he has a shooting?

It’s better to reserve one.

 

        Then, they positioned themselves side by side. Mingyu held hands with Jeonghan and Seungkwan to Hoshi. Hoshi tried not to laugh, but he couldn’t help it too. Now he knew how Mingyu felt. It felt like a comedic act, but he had to endure it for the sake of teaching the choreography.

 

        In the other world, meaning… in Mingyu’s world, he’s currently floating in the air, seeing how y his sleeping beauty was, who was just so close in front of him. His smile was sincere, and somehow, Vernon –the only audience- noticed it.

 

Vernon:

Mingyu hyung, enough of dreaming. Start memorizing the steps.

 

Mingyu:

I am trying too.

(Acted that he was trying hard.)

 

        Not long after, the other members were already at home. Mingyu stopped practicing as they needed to cook for dinner. Ming Housewife and the other Sebongie chefs went to the kitchen to cook their dinner. Hoshi went to his room to rest and quickly fell asleep. Jeonghan saw how dedicated Hoshi was when it comes to work; however, he was just too scared that Hoshi might get sick because of how hard working he is. Soon Young was not able to eat his dinner because he did not want to be disturbed on his sleep, since he already lack sleep yesterday.

 

        The next day, MommyHan was the first one to wake up. Again, he woke up at 6:00 in the morning and he didn’t know why. Like last time, he read books to get his sleep again but it won’t work anymore, so he just cooked breakfast for the boys. It was just too bad that his vision became dark again when the kettle started singing from a whisper to its loudest shout. Jeonghan panicked as he was afraid that it would wake the other members up. He tried to the stove from below to prevent his hands from burning. And, he became surprised when someone touched his hand and pulled him backwards. That man was the one to put out the fire and finally, the kettle stopped creating a loud, annoying sound.

 

Jeonghan:

Thank you.

 

Seungcheol:

You almost hurt yourself.

 

        Jeonghan recognized their leader’s lazy yet commanding voice.

 

Jeonghan:

Sorry, Cheolie.

Good morning!

(He smiled)

 

Seungcheol:

Do you have any schedule this morning that you wake up this early?

 

Jeonghan:

I can’t sleep again.

 

Seungcheol:

(Frowned his brows)

You should have wake me up.

(With a cold tone.)

 

Jeonghan:

Sorry.

I did not bother because you all seem tired.

 

        Seungcheol made him sit beside the dining table as he sat in front of him, while staring at the clueless angel. One moment, Cheol came close to Jeonghan. It was so quiet that Jeonghan could hear Seungcheol’s breath coming close to his face. While Seungcheol displayed a very romantic mischievous smile with his face an inch close to his beloved angelhowever, he was halted when Jeonghan spoke.

 

Jeonghan:

Cheol-ah, are you trying to steal a kiss from me again?

(His eyes were serious)

 

Seungcheol:

(He smirked)

No.

 

        The mighty knight always has his strategy and courage to win a fight, so he didn’t think twice to press his lips against his angel’s pinkish lips. While Jeonghan was mesmerized, Seungcheol replied.

 

Seungcheol:

I’m not trying to…. I’m planning to.

 

Jeonghan:

(Wore a straight, angry-like, face.)

Why do you al-

 

Seungcheol:

(He whispered)

Because I miss you.

(Sat back to the chair)

And you know how much I love you.

 

Jeonghan:

Enough to kiss me? Is that the reason?

 

Seungcheol:

What’s the matter?

 

Jeonghan:

(He became frustrated)

Cheol, it’s in the lips. You kissed me in the li-

 

        Another kiss landed on the angel’s lips, but it’s not just a simple kiss. It’s a passionate one. Unfortunately, the angel pushed Seungcheol back with an angry expression.

 

Jeonghan:

Ya!

Are you playing with me?!

 

Seungcheol:

No.

(Wrinkled his brows because he was a little pissed.)

Are you mad at me, now?

 

Jeonghan:

What am I supposed to do, then?

 

Seungcheol:

(Sighed)

Fine. I’m sorry… I just…

 

        Without further words, he embraced the blind angel, and he couldn’t help but to let out a silent cry. Jeonghan was startled upon his actions, especially when he felt that Seungcheol was crying. At that time, he also felt that his vision was slowly returning back.

 

Jeonghan:

Ya, Coups-ya, are you crying?

 

Seungcheol:

I miss you.

(He whispered sadly.)

I miss you so bad.

 

Jeonghan:

(He felt bad that Coups had to suffer that bad. He knew that he worked hard for him and now he gave him a big fright that made him feel sad.)

I’m sorry.

 

        Jeonghan pulled the weeping knight gently and held his face. The angel wiped his tears away. He also noticed that he was so sad and it made him more guilty. Seungcheol reached Jeonghan’s hand that was lightly pressed on his face and smelled his sweet and soothing scent before he planted a kiss on that soft and delicate hand.

 

Seungcheol:

I miss you so much…

(He said in a soft voice.)

I thought I’d lose you.

(His tears continued to flow on his cheeks)

 

        It was the first time Jeonghan saw how hurt Seungcheol was. It hurt him more, especially that he knew it was his fault. The atmosphere became quiet and sad and it felt heavy.

 

Jeonghan:

Coups…

 

Seungcheol:

Don’t ever do that again. Don’t ever make me long for you this much again, or else…

(He threatened his with a fierce yet sad eyes.)

I will not let you go.

 

        Those words made Jeonghan tremble, not that he was scared, but it was because Seungcheol was serious and he mean it. Well, he’s a bit scared too because of the possibilities that might happen, but he felt something… something he didn’t know yet. It was not the first time he felt the strange feelings like that; although, he was estranged with that feeling, he knew that it makes him feel warm and calm and somehow happy. It was not only at Seungcheol, even if it was not a kiss, there were instances that he could feel his heart beat fluctuate because of that unidentified happy and satisfying emotion. Jeonghan paused for a second before going back to reality.

 

Jeonghan:

(Scolded Coups)

Don’t you think, it’s inappropriate?

 

Seungcheol:

The what?

(Playing dumb as he stopped crying.)

 

Jeonghan:

Those that you did to my…

(Pointed at his lips)

It’s unjust!

What if someone sees you?!

They might misunderstood!

 

Seungcheol:

I don’t care as long as I can see you.

 

        Jeonghan turned speechless that moment and did not know how to react. Seungcheol felt that he showed too much and tried to light up the mood; though, he didn’t know how.

 

        On the other hand, there was one person, who saw and heard all of it. And it was their maknae, Dino. At first he was traumatized by it, but the boy kind of predicted that it would really happen; however, he just don’t know the effect on the group. As a maknae, he obliged himself to protect his Mommy Han, but how could he protect him from their Daddy Coups who had all the powers. Nevertheless, Dino wouldn’t let anybody, not even Coups to get a hold of his Mommy Han. His duty was to protect and maintain their relationship as a group. He promised that on that very day.

 

        Of course, the daring maknae didn’t care how things would turn out. All he cared now was his self-assigned mission. So, he entered the kitchen and greeted the two eldest in their group fearlessly.

 

Dino:

Oh!

Good morning!

(Glaring at the both of them)

 

        The unshaken Coups became fragile in an instant as soon as he heard that somebody entering the kitchen. He suddenly became nervous and he became stiff. He tried to calm himself by inhaling and exhaling deeply and composed himself like nothing happened.

 

Seungcheol:

Good morning!

(Wore a serious calm face.)

 

Jeonghan:

(Wore a more pissed face, teasing Seungcheol.)

You don’t care, huh? Tsk!

I see you stumble a little.

(He smirked)

You don’t care your face! Look at you now!

Where’s your courage knight?

(He smirked)

 

Seungcheol:

(Wore a defeated face.)

You devil!

 

Jeonghan:

Good morning baby!

(He embraced Dino and tried to report the harasser behind them.)

He tried to harm me, baby.

Please protect me.

(Wearing a sarcastic face.)

 

Dino:

Ohhoooo!

(Acted like a nobleman in Jeoseon Era.)

How dare you touch the divine, hyung!

I won’t let you lay a finger on him!

Not anymore!

(He still played the role but he mean it.)

 

Seungcheol:

(Gained his confidence)

Dino ya…

(Gave a cold glare at Dino)

I can’t promise you that.

(He smirked)
