Sprawled out on her bed, Minjeong stared at her ceiling, mind blank. 
 

She'd gone back home during the summer break, deciding to visit her parents when her best friend for the past eight years had hard launched a boy.

Not that it mattered, the blonde woman had already seen this coming from the start.

She'd fallen in love anyway, because it was impossible not to. Because in the face of fate and someone so...perfect, Minjeong was just another girl, taken by the kindness of one Yoo Jimin.

The door to her room cracks open, NingNing. 

"Dude, you have to come out soon man, you dragged me all the way back home with you and now you're just laying in bed sulking and moping around." Ning climbs onto the bed, laying on the older girl's stomach.

" It's not like you didn't know this would come sooner or later. You said it yourself man, she's straight, that's why you've only stood at the side all this time, just watching." The words snap an imaginary string holding Minjeong's heart together.

"Yeah... you're right." Ning is breathing slowly, falling asleep with the silence when the stomach she was laying on suddenly trembles.

Sitting up only reveals Minjeong crying, an arm over her eyes.

"Dude...sorry, I shouldn't have been that blunt-"
