Slowly waking up behind her eyelids, Karina squeezed them shut, unwilling to wake up at this moment.

Soft chirping of birds along with the buzzing of cicadas and crickets accompanied the young couple on their date to the closest flower field from their town, 2 hours away. 

Unable to ignore the flashing shadow she was seeing, Karina finally fluttered her eyes open, finding the reason for her slumber being interrupted.

" A single leaf fighting the wind, of course." Not wanting to face the sky anymore, the girl decided to turn towards her lovers abdomen, welcoming the sight of Winter in spring, surrounded by flowers underneath a tall tree.

Pretty.

Taking a deep breath in, the taller girl allowed her eyelids to shut, relaxed, enjoying the scent of Winter's perfume. 

It smells like...A freshly aired out blanket. What perfume is this..?

The two had spent the day on a train here, talking about anything and everything that was going on with school, their friends' drama's, their families and the shows they'd been watching.

So much so, that by the time they had arrived there was barely anything left to talk about, leaving the two to silently lay out the picnic blanket, the younger of the two having burst out laughing as she watched Karina get smacked in the face with the other end of the blanket when she had tried spreading it out with the wind.

Rather than talk, the two sat in silence, a comfortable one. Simply enjoying the presence and company of each other. Words weren't needed to speak of how much they had missed each other, of how they felt, their fingers and eyes did the talking for them.

Pinky fingers that had barely unhooked from each other, even now as the older girl lays upon Winter's thigh, chasing sleep.

Fingers that laid upon Karina's cheek, having slid off, exposing the older to the harshness of the sun.
