'AIGOOO I really don’t want to go! They think just because they send me to live with foster parents I’m suddenly going to straighten up? Why is life so unfair? Why doesn’t anything go my way!' you say in an exasperated manner. You were  in your room talking to yourself like you always do, since you recently moved into this care home you did not have the opportunity to exchange pleasantries with any of the other resident’s thus you always stayed cooped inside your room and befriended yourself as weird as that sounds.  After you attempted to run away for the fourth time the head of the care home came to the idea that it will best for you to move again but this time not to another care home but to be taken in by foster parents, they were friends of your late parents and seemed more than pleased to take you in. You were already seventeen and thought it will be okay for you to live by yourself however the law said otherwise. As you sulked in your room Hani unnie the care worker barged in

 ‘You still haven’t packed? The Byuns will be arriving in thirty minutes! Stop sulking and get on with it!!' you despised her, even though you were a resident in this home for only two weeks in those two weeks you already deemed her your enemy she was always intruding in your privacy, sometimes when you were using your laptop she’ll arrive in your room and order to see what you were doing  even though you had nothing to hide but at that moment you felt threatened like she'll expose all your secrets when in actuality you were just browsing through tumblr and looking at Suju videos.

You finally decided to start packing although you only needed to put a few items as your luggage as it was prepared yesterday ready for your next plan to run away, however the home kept a consistent observation of your every move hence you couldn't proceed with your earlier plans

‘I just hope that house is okay...Their mum and dads friend they should be okay right?' you said to yourself and just at that moment heard a knock

 'Come in' you said in a  unbothered tone and in came a woman with Hani unnie behind her she informed you that it was Mrs Byun and left you two in your room to get acquainted . Mrs Byun looked gorgeous for someone of her age her hair was dark brown and pulled up very nicely, she wore a long loose light pink skirt and a white shirt with minimal jewellery and light application of makeup, when you saw her you immediately fell in awe as she had such a nice air around her so you couldn't help but feel a smile pull up your lips

  ' Hi my name is ______' you introduced yourself, she smiled as a result and consequently  went onto saying who she was. A few seconds went by after your brief exchange , gradually your eyes fell to the floor as a result of the awkward atmosphere, after another few seconds your ears perk up to hear slight movement so you look up to see her approaching you, she suddenly embraces with you a warm hug

 ' I’m sorry that I wasn't there for you at all those hard times you went through, after your parents death we fought hard to take you in but our efforts were shattered when we heard that your auntie was adopting you..we only found out recently that she died of alcohol poisoning when you were three years old, if we had this knowledge at the time, without a single speck of doubt we would have come for you and taken you under our wing ‘after a brief pause she continued while you stood in silence 

 'Again I’m sorry please forgive me if you have any ill harboured feelings towards me' you were not entirely conscious as she was talking to you, just the fact that she fought for you when you were young brought massive tear drops to tumble down your eyes, you always thought that there was no one in this world who cared for you but the fact that Mrs Byun stood next to you and told you all of this made your heart swell with happiness, as an impulse you hugged Mrs Byun firmly and for the first time in your life felt like you had a mother figure,

'Thank you...I always felt like I was alone in this world after being transferred from one home to another I thought this is my life this will always be my life but you telling me all of this has made me finally see that there is a life out there for me gosh I sound cheesy' Mrs Byun laughs gently

'No you don't I admire your courage and bravery, when we go home I want you to teach these traits too my sons ' she jokes

 ‘Soo...how many sons do you have?' you ask casually

'Oh I have seven sons ranging from the age of twenty two to fifteen ' she replies indifferently, you gawk as a result

 ‘SEVEN SON’S Oh my gosh 'you scream in your head

 'Ommo how am I going to live??' with many questions circling your head you leave the care home alongside Mrs Byun without saying any goodbyes to the other residents, you settle inside the car and ponder over the new revelation of living with seven boys

'This is going to be quite interesting' you assume before the car drives away.
