Mi Young 's Pov :

When i opened the door to my house, i was shocked. I heard my dad in the kitchen, screaming and yelling. I walked, silently, and peeked. What the actual ? 

I knew my mum had called a cop. Because she's afraid that he might abuse us again. And the cop happened to be my uncle. I knew that my uncle had called him. Mum's hand jerked away from the wooden spoon she was using to stir the ground beef. I continued peeking, clutching my fist.

"What lies have you been telling my brother about me? "

" I just.. thought ... "

Dad's face was red, his eyes narrow. " You thought what? That you wanted me in jail? Is that what you thought? Do you know what they do in jail? "

My dad whipped the towel off the counter and pulled the cast- iron pan from the front burner. Then he flung it at my mum. Ground beef flew in all directions as the heavy pan hit her foot with a thunk. She was still wearing dress shoes and nylons. The nylons metled and stuck to her foot. I heard her scream when i close my eyes. My dad was about throw punches at her when i grabbed his arms.

I cant let him do this again. " What do you think you are doing? Throwing punches at her again? " I said, with anger in my voice. " Mi young ah, stay out of this. Its my fault though .. " My mum replied, hoping
