"Did Yerimmie just glare at me?"

Wendy walks into the living room a little confused. The day is almost halfway through and she's only just woken up. She rounds at the couch, tapping at Seulgi's legs for some space.

"Did you eat yet?" Seulgi asks her, draping her legs back over the sitting Wendy's lap. Wendy playfully slaps at it but doesn't make her get it off.

"Later," she says. "I think Yerimmie glared at me."

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know. She was on her way to her room when I got out of mine."

Seulgi shrugs, puts it off as Yeri being Yeri. It's not like she's never done weird things before. All of them has at some point.

Decidedly ignoring whatever it is that happened, the two bestfriends put on one of the shows they like to watch instead.

Irene comes in a while later, takeout bags expertly carried by her tiny hands. Wendy gets up to help, ignoring Seulgi's complaint of being too comfortable to move.

"Do you want food or not?" Wendy sasses back.

Seulgi huffs. "I want chicken."

"I got your favourite," Irene says.

Seulgi bounces up immediately. Lunch is important, after all. She doesn't forget to thank and compliment Irene who only rolls her eyes fondly.

They have the table set up in no time and Seulgi bounds over to the maknaes' rooms to call them to eat.

Joy comes out first, casually making her way to the kitchen while Seulgi goes ahead to knock on Yeri's room.

Yeri opens her door and scowls at Seulgi.

The youngest goes to the kitchen with Seulgi following behind, scratching her head in hopes to remember if she's done anything to upset their youngest.

Yeri walks straight to Irene and gives the oldest girl a warm hug, to the further confusion of Wendy and Seulgi. Joy only smirks and piles more food on her plate.

"What's going on?" Irene asks the youngest.

"You deserve better," she replies with conviction.

Yeri picks up her lunch and leaves a final glare at Wendy and Seulgi before marching off to her room. The kitchen falls into silence.

"Okay, that is just really weird," Wendy says. "I told you she was being weird," she tells Seulgi.

"I don't even know what I did!" exclaims her best friend.

Joy snorts and nearly chokes, quickly reaching for her cup of drink. The older girls turn their gazes at her. Something's up and Joy needs to cough it up.

Not that Joy needed any incentive.

"She just read fanfiction," she tells them.

There's a gasp, probably Seulgi. Those things are evil! She hasn't read them, of course. She's not even curious. Not at all.

"Wait, she's doing this for something she read over the internet?" Wendy asks in disbelief.

"That's stupid," Irene comments.

"She just hugged you."

"Still stupid."

Seulgi scoffs and faces Joy. "What story did she read anyway?"

"Wendy unnie cheating on her wife," shrugs Joy.

"I did what?!" Wendy gasps, scandalized.

"Her wife is Irene unnie."

Irene gasps, eyes shaping into a glare. "Yah Son Seungwan!"

Seulgi laughs out loud as Wendy frantically denies her fictional self, telling Irene how it's all not real and if it was, she would never do that to her. How she's faithful and loyal and will do her absolute best to make Irene happy because she deserves to be loved—

But Joy isn't done yet.

"The best part is that she cheated on you with Seulgi unnie."

Seulgi stops mid-laugh and slowly turns to Irene. Wendy stops talking too. Joy sits back comfortably. Irene takes a deep breath.

"You wHAT?!"
