Myungsoo and Muffy stared at Sungyeol and Miki in shock.

What is this? Miki and Sungyeol, they they are together? I never knew... Muffy stared at her two friends shocked. She glanced at Myungsoo beside her and could see the shock on his face also. The shock and the sadness and disappointment. But why must they just suddenly start kissing like this when we are here to see it? Doesn't Miki.. doesn't Miki have any kind of sense, any kind of clue that Myungsoo likes her??

Myungsoo was trying to hold back his tears that were threatening to form in his eyes when he saw the two kissing.
So... it was something like that. Miki is together with that man? Or two men, Hoya too? I don't know anymore.. I don't know... but it's hopeless for me isn't it?

Muffy felt really bad for Myungsoo. She wanted to take him away, away from seeing this. But she knew they shouldn't go together, so they wouldn't seem suspicious.

She moved a bit closer to Myungsoo and touched his hand slightly. Myungsoo glanced at Muffy, she nodded her head to the side a bit, signaling him to follow her.

Muffy took one last glance at Sungyeol and Miki then walked back towards the castle. Myungsoo waited for a couple of minutes more then started walking to the castle also.

Muffy was waiting for Myungsoo by the doors. "Come with me." Muffy whispered and led her down the stairs to one secret hallway there was. There was one bench down there where she sat Myungsoo down.

Myungsoo said nothing, just sat down.

"About that... Miki...." Muffy started.
"What about her?" Myungsoo whispered looking down on the ground.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't know things were like that." Muffy said.

Myungsoo were now swallowing his tears hard, he said nothing.

"I think it's best you just forget about her if sheis together with Sungyeol. I wouldn't want to break their happiness. Though I think it was a bit too much to just kiss each other in front of us like that." Muffy said feeling a bit angry at her friends.

Myungsoo felt like crying even more but tried to calm himself down.
He cleared his throat and spoke. "It's not like there was anything between me and her. Why are you apologizing?"

He tried to sound convincing but Muffy heard the sadness from his voice.

"But you liked Miki didn't you?" Muffy asked.
Myungsoo didn't reply.

"It doesn't matter... I should just forget about any feelings.. they are just blocking my thoughts and making things difficult. Don't worry. I will forget." Myungsoo mumbled and stood up.

"Myungsoo.." Muffy whispered as she watched him walk away into the darkness.

When Myungsoo was alone, he couldn't stop his tears anymore. He sobbed silently in the dark hallways wanting to forget about the scene he just saw outside.

Muffy was sitting at her bed when Miki finally came back in.

"You and Sungyeol.. are together?" Muffy asked silently.
"Uhh.. yeah. We are." Miki lied to her and laid down on her bed.

"I see. I don't think it was necessary for you two to kiss there like that in front of us even if you love each other so much." Muffy said. Miki could hear the anger in her voice.

"You should consider other people's feelings too." Muffy mumbled silently and laid down turning her back on Miki.

"What is it to you if Sungyeol and I kiss?" Miki asked. "That's the only time we can spend together. We can't skip around the castle like we're dating now can we."
Muffy sighed. "Just keep it low key. I don't want people finding out about you two and you both getting kicked out." Muffy made an excuse.

Miki rolled her eyes and got into her bed. She began to think back at what happened after the kiss.

FLASHBACK

Miki pulled away when Myungsoo was gone, but she continued to stay in Sungyeol's arms.

"I saw that. You pushed away Myungsoo didn't you." Sungyeol Miki's back.

Miki said nothing and buried her head into Sungyeol's chest. Sungyeol could feel her tears through his shirt although Miki made no sound.

"You did the right thing. He could end up getting hurt if you didn't." Sungyeol looked up at the sky. "By the way. You're a nice kisser." Sungyeol joked. "I think I want to do that again."
"Yah! I'm your sister. Don't you dare." Miki hit his shoulder.
"I won't, but I got you to stop crying didn't I?" Sungyeol bent over to look at Miki's face. "Aigoo, look at your puffy face." Sungyeol wiped away the tears. "Let's go wash your face off then go to sleep."

END FLASHBACK

Miki turned over to her side. What would I have done if Sungyeol wasn't there?

The next two were awkward for Muffy, Miki, Myungsoo, and Woohyun. Miki avoided Myungsoo like the plague as Muffy avoided Woohyun. Woohyun however was determined to make up with Muffy. He continued to look for Muffy as Muffy made sure he was no were near him.

The day before the conference everyone except the royal family was called to the ballroom after dinner. The gathering was to discuss the Servant's Conference.

"I'd like to start the meeting on the conference, so settle down." The royal adviser said into the mic.

Everyone became quiet.

"The Conference will take place two days Friday. All the servants, but a select few will be attending the conveyance. To ensure the safety of the servants the King has allowed one third of his guards to accompany the servants. The entire trip will take an entire day so the servants will not be returning to until the next morning. We need around 10 servants to stay to accompany the royal family." The adviser announced.

Muffy, Miki, Sungyeol, Dongwoo, Sungjong, and a few others raised their hands.

"Muffy, Sungjong, Dongwoo don't volunteer." Sungyeol told them since he didn't want them involved.
"Why?" Sungjong asked. "I don't want to go to a boring conferance."
"If we all don't go who's going to tell us the information? We're not close to anyone else. Plus you have nice handwriting." Sungyeol lobbied.
"Fine." Songjong put his hand down. "You're coming with me." He pulled Dongwoo's hand down. "If the conference gets boring you can make jokes."
Dongwoo sighed. "Fine. At least we get to go in town to see the girls."

Miki turned to Muffy. "You're not going to the conference?"
Muffy shook her head. "I don't want to walk with my injured leg." Muffy pointed to her leg.
"Right." Miki glanced at Sungyeol.
Sungyeol shrugged. "It's okay." He mouthed to Miki.

"What about you? Why are you and Sungyeol not going?" Muffy asked, also not wanting Sungyeol and Miki to get hurt.
"Sungyeol hasn't been feeling good recently. His stomach had been sore for a few days now, so we want to stay and rest. You know not aggravate anything." Miki replied.
"Oh," Muffy glanced at Sungyeol. "Are you sure? Fresh air might be good."
"We're good." Miki reassured.
"Okay." Muffy replied unsure. It's not going to safe here on Friday, so I hope you stay hidden.

Muffy, Sungyeol, and Miki were placed on the list of servants who were going to remain at the castle. Sunggyu's team of guards, which included Myungsoo and Hoya, were not selected to guard the servants.

Everyone who was not attending the conference were dismissed from the ballroom, so those attending the conference could have a meeting. They were also allowed to sleep early as they would be piled with work the next day.

Muffy told Miki and Sungyeol she was going to get some air, then left to find Myungsoo.

Miki, and Sungyeol met up with Hoya near the dungeon.

"So everything is set for tomorrow right?" Miki asked.
"Yup, everything is set." Hoya assured. "In the morning in the chaos while the servants are leaving everyone will enter the castle. We will wait until after lunch when the King goes to take his daily nap to execute the plan. We need you two to secretly put the sleeping powder into his drink before lunch. If anyone gets in your way kill them. Here." Hoya handed Sungyeol and Miki their weapons. "Be safe. As soon as the attack is over we meet near the edge of town and we're not coming back. Say good bye to your friends now."

Hoya left. Sungyeol stared at the weapons Hoya gave him. It was his father's gun and his own gun, as well as a small sword. Miki looked down at her weapons. She had a pair of pistols that Hoya and Sungyeol had gifted to her went she first started training, and her favorite pair of sais, since Miki was more of a hand to hand fighter.

They quickly put their weapons away, so no one could see them. They headed back to the servant's quarters.

Just as they were about to enter the room Sungyeol grabbed Miki's wrist. "Tonight say good bye to your friends. Sungjong, Dongwoo, Muffy, and god even Myungsoo. We may never see them again."
Miki nodded. "I'll do that."

Sungyeol left to find Sungjong and Dongwoo. Miki debated on who to see first. She decided to see Myungsoo first since see knew where Dongwoo and Sungjong's rooms were, and she shared a room with Muffy. Miki went searching for Myungsoo.

"So everything is clear to you right?" Myungsoo asked Muffy after they had been discussing about tomorrow's attack.
"Yes." Muffy said.

"Then explain to me one more time." Myungsoo said wanting to assure that Muffy knew exactly what to do.
"When all the servants and other people are just leaving, we will guide everyone inside through the secret hallways.. you from the north side of the castle and I from the south side of the castle. You will lead everyone to the King around the time he is taking his nap. And I .. must lead them to the Prince's room. " Muffy said silently.

"And.... it's not all.. tell me." Myungsoo said firmly.

"I must.. distract the prince and while I am doing that the one's who are going to kill him will sneak inside and kill him so he doesn't even notice." Muffy said.
"Actually Myungsoo... couldn't I help in killing the queen instead why must it be the prince." Muffy said feeling horrible that she would have to stay in the same room when Woohyun was killed.

"No. It's best you are helping out killing prince Woohyun. You are a good distraction to him as he did show you great kindness after you saved him the other day.. at least that's what I heard from some of the servants." Myungsoo said.

"I heard that they are bringning in some special kind of gas. It is a new invention, they told me it will make the King unconcious and anyone not wearing this certain mask once we spread that gas around his room. I also must get that mask. That way we can kill the King very peacefully, without the guards knowing, or if there is guards the gas will affect on them also." Myungsoo said.

"Then why don't they use the gas on the Prince also?" Muffy asked wanting Woohyun to have a peaceful death also.

"Well.... you know Sung Joong hyung. He has this kind of special hatred towards princes, he wants to make him suffer more. I'm guessing Sung Joon hyung's got some kind of crush on on some girl who is really crushing for the prince or that's what the rumour said. But anyway he really hates princes so... he won't use gentle ways." Myungsoo said.

"Sung Joon!? He, does he really have to be the one working with me tomorrow??" Muffy said displeased.

"Yeah, i'm sorry but that's how it is... actually I heard that he especially asked you to be there with him." Myungsoo said.
He knew how Muffy didn't like this.
When Muffy had still lived out of the palace, there had been a time she had been going out with this guy Sung Joon. But later on Muffy had found out what kind of idiot he had been, he had been sleeping around with almost every girl around not caring about Muffy's feelings at all. But still Sung Joon had this kind of idea in his head that Muffy belonged to him only, even though Muffy had made it very clear that she didn't want that. She really disliked him nowadays.

"So we will meet.. you next morning at around six for another meeting. I will give you all the possible weapons you need then." Myungsoo said.

"Okay.. well .." Muffy started but Myungsoo quickly blocked . "Shh.. someone's coming." Myungsoo whispered.

Muffy also now heard footsteps, she got up quickly and ran away from the place leaving Myungsoo there.

Myungsoo frowned, trying to figure out who was coming. He took a few steps forward but froze when he saw Miki's figure.

Myungsoo panicked, he wanted to escape, he didn't want to see her now so any feelings won't come out. He started walking towards Miki, only to pass her.
Miki stopped when she saw Myungsoo walking. Myungsoo was about to pass her but suddenly stopped. He stayed silent for a moment but then spoke.

"Tomorrow... I think it would be better if you servants don't come to the royal's room that much. I heard from the prince that the royals would like to have a day relaxing by themselves without much disturbance. Since here's always so many servants running around..." Myungsoo made a lie, hoping Miki would stay away from the royal's room during the attack.
