Chapter 13: Satur-date?

8:00pm

We just finished our dinner when I came back to my room to relax. I grabbed the novel I'm reading and slouched at my bed. I the television, well, just for background noise.

"Dara!" Someone called. I stopped and looked at the TV. I then shrugged thinking it's just my imagination.

Moment later, I heard a clack noise from my window. I did not mind it since maybe it's just a bird or something.

But the noise went on and on. I stood up and went towards the window. I swayed the curtain to see where the noise came from. Then I saw him.

"Dara!" He mouthed while waving both his arms up.

I immediately opened my window and shouted in a low tone voice afraid that Mom and Dad would hear it. "Jiyong! What are you doing here?"

He just shrugged and grabbed something from his car. A sketchbook.

He opened it and showed me. 'BORED?' That was written in his sketchbook.

I just rolled my eyes but smiled. "Kind of." I replied.

He then flipped the page and showed it again to me. 'COME, LET'S GO!'

I sighed. "I can't. Mom's gonna kill me. I have my match tomorrow." I explained. I wanted to come but I need to condition myself tonight.

I saw his smile faded. "Okay." He agreed and went back to his car.

I sighed as I see his car leaving.

I do have no choice. Do I have?
