Chapter 35: Graduation and Truth of Artworks Part 2
Sky is the LimitChapter 35: Graduation and Truth of Artworks Part 2
Dara's POV
My hands are literally shaking, my mouth wanted to say something but no words voiced out. Of all artworks? Why is it our's was chosen? I wasn't expecting this.
"Dara, your painting was chosen." Danah smiled at me. I looked around and saw almost everyone looking excitingly at me. I looked back at Mr. Kim with my eyebrows furrowed in worry. I'm afraid I can't explain a painting in which I am not the mind behind it.
I heaved a deep sigh as I gathered all my energy to stand up from my chair. I put my hands on my knees and pushed myself up.
Third person POV
"Annyeong Haseyo." A voice greeted. Suddenly, the auditorium's light went off. Everyone gasped and startled. Dara stopped on moving and looked around the dark auditorium. In an instant, the light on the stage went on, illuminating only their painting.
Everyone's attention focused on the painting.
"I'm Kiko Mizuhira." A voice said. Dara looked around but she was nowhere to be found.
Dara felt her knees weak, again. She lost her balance and slammed herself on her seat.
"I'm sorry that I can't attend the ceremony today. First, I wanted to congratulate everyone." The recorded voice said. "Hmm. I wanted to thank Mr. Kim, too for choosing our painting. Me and Dara's painting." Kiko's voice let a light chuckle. Dara's hands balled into fists
