Dara's POV
"Thank you." I bowed as some reporters finished interviewing me. I smiled and faced my parents and Cheondung.
They smiled back as my dad wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "You did good today." He said. I look at Mom and saw that her eyes are moist because of tears on side of her eyes.
"Come here sweetie." Mom said and hugged me. She completely broke into tears.
"Mom. It's okay." I said while I gently rubbed my hands to her back to comfort her.
"Omo, I'm sorry, I just can't help it." She sniffed and released me from her embrace.
I just smiled at her and continued rubbing her back.
"Dara!" Bom shouted, running towards us.
When she reached us, she quickly held both my hands and jumped excitedly. "Oh my Gosh! My bestfriend is now Korea's ranked 1 in tennis." She giggled and squeezed my hands.
Yes, I won. It was a tough competition, very tough. Song Mina, my opponent, was really really good. I almost lost but it just happened, I won. It sounds odd but I guess I should thank him, Jiyong. But either way, he owes me an apology! He was late!
